DATA AND RECONCILIATIONS ADMININSTRATOR (12 MONTH CONTRACT)
A leading life assurance organisation based in the South of the Island is seeking to recruit an organised and personable Data and Reconciliations Administrator for a 12 Month Period. Reporting to the Third Party Team Manager, duties of this role are varied and will include: *Reconciling asset positions *Producing month end packs for sign off in accordance with month end accounting deadlines *Identifying and investigating outstanding items *Downloading of daily reports and files from 3rd parties *Supporting other team members. The ideal Candidate will be/have acquired: *Educated to A Level standard (preferably including an A Level in Mathematics) *A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office in particular Excel *Organised and adaptable. RISK OFFICER (12 MONTH CONTRACT)
A leading life assurance organisation based in the heart of Douglas is seeking to recruit an inquisitive and tenacious Risk Officer for a 12 Month Period. You will support the Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance and your duties will include: *Proactively performing risk assessments which will include analysing risks and identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business *Proactively quantifying the organisation's 'risk appetite' *Providing risk evaluations, which will involve comparing and benchmarking estimated risks *Escalating Risk Issues to Management and the Board to include general incident management e.g. near misses and potential escalation warnings *Undertaking business continuity planning, in collaboration with various Heads of Department *Communicating/educating staff to understand their responsibility in regard to business continuity planning and delivery *Providing support, education and training to staff and management *Performing scheduled Data Quality assurance testing The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate: *At least 3 years’ experience within a risk function *Experience in the delivery of an effective risk management framework *The ability to link ‘risks’ to business processes * A Risk Management qualification (for e.g. Institute of Financial Services Risk Management) or equivalent The successful Candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary, excellent staff benefits and a professional and friendly working environment.
BOOKKEEPER (3 MONTH CONTRACT)
A local construction company on the Island is seeking to recruit a knowledgeable and hardworking Bookkeeper for a 3 Month Period. Duties are varied and will include: *Recording and maintaining an accurate record of financial transactions *Managing the General Ledger *Performing Bank Reconciliations The ideal Candidate will have acquired at least 2-4 years' experience within a similar role. They will also have acquired an industry recognised bookkeeping/ accountancy qualification (AICB/AIB/AAT/CAT.) ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR (12 MONTH CONTRACT)
A small but dynamic accountancy practice located in the South of the Island is seeking to recruit an organised and experienced Accounting Supervisor. Reporting directly to the Director, duties are varied and will include: *Managing the Accounting Team and their workloads *Reviewing and approving work *Ensuring all deadlines are tracked and met *Ensuring adherence to all statutory regulations *On boarding clients, including collating the necessary KYC *Assisting with more complex/technical accounting issues *Carrying out staff appraisals *Maintaining high levels of motivation within the Team The ideal Candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) who has acquired at least 3 years' post qualification experience. Previous management and client accounting experience will be advantageous. The successful Candidate will receive a competitive salary and an attractive Staff Remuneration Package.
