The main responsibilities of the role will include:

*Advising on the design and operation of the Risk Management Framework

*Providing advice and challenging risk aspects of business strategy setting, corporate planning and decision making processes

*Developing and embedding an ORSA process in business strategy setting, corporate planning and decision making processes

*Reviewing and advising on recommendations for additions, deletions and amendments to the Risk Log

*Providing oversight and validation of internal and external reporting of risk

*Identifying and reviewing notifications by others of new or emerging risks and loss/near miss events

*Reporting and making recommendations as appropriate, to the Managers’ on the activities, reviews and evaluations

The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate:

*Previous experience in a risk management position in insurance

*Strong regulatory and technical knowledge

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT) - £70K TO £80K

*Experienced in proof of concept work

The duties of the role will include:

*Managing the insurance needs for a portfolio of both personal & commercial clients

*Researching insurance companies’ policies and negotiating with underwriters

*Managing the annual insurance cycle including policy renewals and amendments

*Handling day to day client insurance and risk queries

*Meeting with clients/insurers as required

 

The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate:

*Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C or above including Maths and English

*Previous client facing experience
