The duties of the role will include:

*Providing first level technical support for queries relating to internal computer systems, hardware and software

*Installing and maintaining various systems

*Providing support to networking issues and internet

*Supporting and assisting with managing various products

The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate:

*Hold a BTEC or Diploma in Technology

*Knowledge of programming language would be advantageous

*Experience in Microsoft Office, Laserfiche, Windows Server, SQL Server, Networking Fundamentals

IT SERVICE DESK ANALYST/ BATCH OPERATOR

A leading provider of investment, saving and protection solutions based on the outskirts of Douglas are seeking to recruit an experienced, meticulous IT Service Desk Analyst/Batch Operator.

 

The duties of the role will include:

*Running and monitoring Batch Processes for our key line of business systems

*Providing first line Service Desk Support addressing and resolving incidents and problems reported by the user base

*Ensuring provision and availability of IT systems and functions to End Users

 

The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate:

*Minimum of 2 years relevant Service/Help Desk experience

*Customer Service experience, face to face/remotely and over the phone

*An understanding of Active Directory, Exchange, Server/Desktop and Network faults

*An understanding of virtual Server/Desktop environments. Preferably VMWare.

GROUP IT INFRASTRUCTURE ANALYST

A leading provider of investment, savings and protection solutions based on the outskirts of Douglas, are seeking to recruit an experienced, pro-active Group IT Infrastructure Analyst.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

*Assessment and implementation of new technical solutions

*Troubleshooting issues across the entire stack: Hardware, Software, application and network

*Provisioning of support and expertise to the Service Desk and other teams within IT

*Contributing to out-of-hours cover

*Maintaining documentation to required standard

The ideal Candidate will have acquired/be able to demonstrate;

*Proven track record with the IT infrastructure environment with a minimum of three years’ experience in similar roles

*Strong knowledge and experience of Networking, Switches, LAN, vLAN, WAN, Routing and Firewalls

*Full understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Server and PC O/S

*Solid knowledge of virtualisation technologies, both Server and VDI

*Strong knowledge of SQL clustering and load balancing

*Strong written and verbal communication skills
